It starts with an imaginative conversation. A new narrative for U.S. Industry is unfolding to reinvigorate U.S. manufacturing, revitalize manufacturing work, worker and workplace and reinvent entire value chains. As business leaders, experts and influencers, collectively WE can drive a new level of prosperity for communities and society.
Driven by consumer trends, digital technologies, new manufacturing processes, and a changing workforce, creative disruption is changing the landscape of manufacturing and supply chains. The financial prize can be huge. The societal prize even bigger.
This future is by no means assured. While the old world order is crumbling, the old is all most people know. The emerging future is happening, it is just not widely shared, understood, or embraced.

2030
In the single decade between 2010 - 2020, we transformed commerce. In 2010, few recognized the tectonic shifts that would rattle every business sector. The businesses and jobs disappearing or moving overseas were highly visible. Businesses and careers now in demand did not yet exist.
In 2020, we are at a similar inflection point and the financial prize is similarly huge. Digital technologies are altering fundamental processes. Demographics are altering the workplace. The pace is accelerating.
A lot can happen in 10 years.
